Job Description:
As a Radiologist at Lilac Diagnostics, you will play a crucial role in the interpretation of medical imaging to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Imaging Interpretation: Analyze and interpret medical images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic images to provide accurate and timely reports.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and supervise various diagnostic procedures, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss cases, provide consultations, and contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic reports. Stay updated on advancements in radiology and incorporate best practices into daily operations.
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, discuss results, and address any concerns they may have.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and Lilac Diagnostics policies.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology.
- State License: Current and unrestricted medical license in the state where practicing.
